A Scarlet Skimmer, in the two photos above, showed
up at our
ponds this summer. This is a non-native dragonfly in Tennessee.

to a leaf above the insect (above).

A Blue Dasher, the most common dragonfly
seen at our location this summer, perches over a pond (above).
